Oh! No! Why has Neko gone Friends Only?! Don't worry, I'm still adding almost anybody. The real reason I'm not going to be 100% pubic anymore is that I don't want people I know in real life reading some of my RL related posts and I really wanted a cool banner...okay, mostly I just wanted a cool banner! But honestly, comment and I'll add you for sure. And I'll still be making plently of public posts, so don't worry!

[PUBLIC] Latest Degrassi Tweets from Stephen  
Now I am even more excited for 912. Considering this was supposed to be the shocking episode. I'm assuming this is KC's "big storyline". I'd be happy if the two-parter was Klare related. But I wouldn't be completely shocked if it turn out to be that love triangle/(possibly square) that people have mentioned. I'm hoping it's not because A) I love Klare and B) I think it would cheapen KC's character. But I guess this is one of those times you wait for more info to come out.

Also thinking "Beat It" might be different from what I originally thought.

I was hoping for a good Riley plot this season. And if it's a two-parter all the better.

A Klare-related two-parter and a Riley-related two parter. Too much to ask for right? I think it'll balence out the Pia crap we have to sit through in the opener.

On another note it's not too long now till the movie...

There are a number of people on my F-list I met through a wonderful little forum called Eternal Snow. The forum has long been dead, but as the forum was preparing to go under, the lovely Chiibi created a new FMwS forum, Miraculous Fate, that after a year and a half is still active.

I don't really go on forums anymore (because I don't have the time/interest). But recently I've been popping over to join the fun at MF.

[PUBLIC] Preview: Glee 1x01: Pilot  
So first off- I changed my layout again. Not sure how long this one will last, maybe just till the end of the month... grey isn't quite my thing so whatever. But my new header is a hint as to what my new love is. And that is GLEE!

It was rather amazing in my opinion. Come this fall I just might have a new favorite show <3

Anyway, the pilot aired tonight. Obviously that's all I've seen so far. But if the series is as good as the pilot when it returns next fall I will be very happy.

Hoping to have an actual review up soon.

I have to say FOX has really revived itself lately. I had pretty much stopped watching the network, but several of their new shows really caught my eye. I was loving Fringe. And I watched Lie To Me super faithfully until it's season finale last week. I am so happy both have been picked up for new seasons. Although Lie To Me only has 13 episodes on order now (*sad face*).

ah! So Annie was Regan and Jessica is Jenna. I thought so. I like the name Fiona, but still like Regan better. *shrugs*


"So nice seeing Nina again, she's been in L.A. so she hasn't been at the read-thrus, and this is the first time seeing her in ages"

Looks like Mia is still around. It must be hard for her to be doing two shows at once especially ones filming so far away from each other.

[PUBLIC] Is Degrassi Recasting It's Show with Musicians?  
It seems Annie Clark is a singer-songwriter like Jessica Taylor.

Landon Liboiron on the other hand makes me curious. It looks like these new cast members are all younger so they'll probably be ninth graders as well. I'm glad we'll be getting another niner boy (if that's the case) to balence out the girls.

Jessica Tyler is one of the new cast members on Degrassi for season 9. She'll probably play a ninth or tenth grader considering her age.

Our friends don't always know us as well as they think, particularly when it comes to likes and dislikes. Which popular book, movie, band, food, TV show, etc. would your friends be surprised to hear that you don't like?

I love indie rock. I love Boston. I don't love the Dropkick Murphys. I don't think I have ever told anyone that. I'm sure there are a lot of people who might be surprised by this. But I do like some of Flogging Molly's songs and I have always thought the two bands were so similar.

wow, I've never answered a writer's block question before. Why I am now is beyond me...

However, I did like the new Wolverine movie. Saw it today with [info]ilovesquee . I have to admit it was fun. I might say I love all the drama or those sappy romances, but actually I'd toss those out for a good action movie any day. 

Oh a different note, I'm so glad my English essay isn't due till Wensday!

[PUBLIC] Kirarin Revolution Ends  

Shows how well I pay attention to things! I barely even check the Ciao site anymore. Anyway, the series is coming to an end in the June issue. It will be featured along with a one shot about Koharu Kusumi (♥) which will drawn by Rio Fujimi! Talk about the end of era. I hope that Nakahara-sensei will be back soon with a new series.

Starting in that same issue is a new series from Yuki Morita called Kare to Kanojo to Kanojo. This one sounds really cute. And Morita-sensei's art looks like it has improved a lot. It's one I'll be keeping an eye on.

[PUBLIC] Degrassi S8 Wrap Up/ S9 Speculation  

I started writing this on the 19th and I'm only posting it now- that's how lazy I am. *sad face*
Thank you Moe for giving me the inspiration to finish this~

I was excited for season 8 from the beginning. I admit when I saw the first promotional photos I was a bit in shock with all the new faces. But I decided to keep an open mind which has been my attitude throughout the season. And I am glad that I did.

Overall I thought this season had a really fresh feel- and not just because of all the new faces. Season 8 finally covered some of the topics I had been hoping for (steroids!) and even the things that were recycled were, for the most part, handled well.

This season also saw some stand out performances from several new cast members that I have high hopes for and introduced us to some characters who I already find loveable and care about.

I find myself even more excited for season 9 because a lot of season 8 felt like set up for the next season. I don't mind this at all and I think that will only make season 9 that much better. In some ways I feel like it's easy to compare season 8 to season 1 which was the building blocks for the series. I'm sure in a few seasons we'll be able to look back and see season 8 in a similar light. If in fact season 8 is the start of the next next generation I think the writers are on the right path.

[PUBLIC] SWAC 1x10: Sonny and the Studio Brat  

First off I updated my layout and my profile. Both are very simple. Header is BrookeXLucas from One Tree Hill. Still not sure how long this layout will last. I'm still thinking over some things.

Secondly, I'm half watching Hatching Pete. My heart is not really in it. I hope it'll air again soon so I can watch it when I have time to pay attention.

And finally my first time reviewing Sonny with a Chance! YAY!
If anyone was expecting the same detail and amount of over-analyzing you see with the Degrassi reviews.... well, you're out of luck. This will be something more like Diet review. ha~

Layout Changes  

Still not sure what kind of layout I want.

I also need to redo my profile again but I'm sure about that either.

About my profile: I never quite know what to write. I think it's hard to try and sum myself up in a few paragraphs. Also, I over think things.

[PUBLIC] Degrassi 818: Danger Zone  

Actually this entry is not quite a week late! I would have written a review sooner, but this episode was so good I've been rewatching it all week. I also put this off because this is the last regular episode review of the season (since I'm counting the movie as something seperate all together). But for a season finale this was perfect. I hope this is a sign that season 9 will be full of good quality like this too.

On a seperate note, since Degrassi is now done for the season and I want to keep my review skills sharp I'll be reviewing Sonny With A Chance for the rest of the season. It works for me because like Degrassi, SWAC airs on Sundays as well so I don't even have to change my schedual.
(wow! How lazy does that make me sound?! >.<)

The last two degrassi posts for the season will be the movie and the S8 wrap up/S9 speculation post.

I will warn you. To balence out last week's review which was extra short, this one is extra long >.<

[PUBLIC] Degrassi 817: Up Where We Belong  

First off the summary for 817 is a week late. I was wondering if it had anything to do with me finally watching One Tree Hill and becoming obsessed with it (it's AT LEAST tied with Degrassi for my favorite TV show now). But after watching 818 I think it's safe to say that the episode was just pretty boring and that's the reason I didn't feel like writing about it since 818 was amazing and reaffirmed my Degrassi love. It didn't help that 817 wasn't good, but wasn't enough of a trainwreck for me to want to rant about it.

So it's not Manny and it's not KC, it's Holly J! (for A-plot anyway, I dunno about B-plot)

This sounds like it could be interesting. But I wonder about the situation she's going to be in that would lead to being held at gunpoint. Will it involve working at the Dot?
